Collection
The Darrel C. Karl Collection is a private
collection of Japanese art showcasing the art of the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa
eras (1860-1989). It includes the prints, drawings, and paintings by some of
the most recognized names in Japanese print artists such as Tsukioka
Yoshitoshi, Kobayashi Kiyochika, Kitano Tsunetomi, Hashiguchi Goyo, Ito
Shinsui, Hiroshi Yoshida, and Kawase Hasui, as well as the work of certain
Western Artists who travelled to or studied in Japan, such as Charles W.
Bartlett, Emil Orlik, and Paul Binnie. Please return often to the website for
